Monteith’s National Cider Day

Cider seems to be the new love affair for kiwis, with Cider sales going through the roof as well as new boutique brands popping up in supermarkets and liquor stores everywhere.

Monteith's are capitalising on this new found love by launching a National Cider Day. Not sure whether this has any merit and certainly won't have same the effect National Nude Day did back in the early noughties. However, the offer of a free Cider on a Sunday at one of Auckland's sunniest garden bars surely warrants a mention. And who knows, maybe the two aforementioned national days can amalgamate together. Let's hope not.
