Overview

Since its inception in 2016, Morning People has developed a cult following and attracted some of New Zealand's best DJs, including the likes of Aroha, Greg Churchill, Dan Aux, Sambora (from Shapeshifter) and electronic live act Yoko Zuna. The hump day morning rave was started by co-founders Vanessa Scott and Jamie Newman — who also introduced the No Lights No Lycra concept to New Zealand.

Kicking off at 7am, the parties are drug and alcohol-free and participants are encourage to let loose and get sweaty. For the next instalment Morning People is heading to one of K' Road's most iconic spaces as part of Elemental AKL festival. Get amongst those feel-good Morning People vibes inside New Zealand's second-oldest surviving concrete building, Hopetoun Alpha.

The party will be led by GeorgeFM daytime host Sin Howard. The $20 entry fee includes bottomless cups of Altezano Brothers Coffee, fruit and Club-Mate. Start your day with a rave like no other.
