Overview

British Indie Rock legend Morrissey heads to Auckland this December, promising to have Vector Arena bouncing and bopping to his famous indie hits.

Morrissey rose to prominence in the 1980s as the lyricist and vocalist of the band The Smiths. They disbanded in 1987, and Morrissey forged an important and groundbreaking career. He is widely regarded as an important innovator in indie music, and has been described as 'one of the most influential artists ever'. With ten Top 10 singles in the UK, it's easy to see why.

Known for his often critical and contrary views, almost as much as his musical back catalogue, and promises to put on one heck of a show for old and new fans alike. Joining Morrissey on tour will be American singer/songwriter Kristeen Young who has supported Morrissey across his 2012 world tour.
