Overview

There's no shortage of food-themed days. Unfortunately for the chooks, Wednesday, 29 July marks National Chicken Wing Day, and Grey Lynn's Malt Public House is bringing out every chick in the book to celebrate.

Kicking off proceedings between 1–2pm will be an all-you-can-eat wings session. The ticketed event includes unlimited wings and the first drink for $25. Those still hungry, or simply in search of an affordable dinner option, will be in luck as the kitchen dishes up its famous 50-cent wings between 4–7pm.

Hungus punters can also take part in a chicken wing eating contest from 6.30–8pm. The first prize is, of course, chicken wings for an entire year. Email [email protected] to register your interest in the gorging session.
