New Zealand Fashion Week 2022
The iconic event will return in February after falling victim to August's snap level 4 lockdown.
Overview
If you're a fashionista who has become simply much too comfortable in sweats and pyjamas throughout the last few months of lockdown, we have some good news — it's almost time to dust off your designer garb.
After this year's much-anticipated 20th anniversary edition of New Zealand Fashion Week fell victim to August's nationwide snap lockdown, organisers have announced it will finally make it's return in 2022.
The iconic event will now take place Monday February 7 until Sunday February 13, returning to it's previous locations of Aotea Square and Auckland Town Hall in the heart of the city.
A revised schedule will be released in the next couple of weeks, but founder Dame Pieter Stewart said in a statement the show's designers and sponsors have all welcomed the new dates, meaning the line-up shouldn't have changed too drastically.
With this year's event being moved to early 2022, NZFW also confirmed that there won't be another event in August next year. The following NZFW will occur in 2023.
