Overview

Over 30 years ago a band formed in Melbourne, Australia that would make some of the following decades' most unique and affecting music. That's Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, headed by the Melbourne singer with the infamous affected baritone voice that sounds like it's bellowing from the pained depths of his soul.

Several decades on and the legendary band is still trucking along, continuing to produce their classic brand of experimental, punk-tinged delta blues, distinguished by that amazing voice and the ever-present slinking bass guitar.

Fans will lose their marbles knowing that Cave and his Bad Seeds are on the way to Auckland for one January concert at Vector. Slip out of the red hot summer sun and into a bit of brooding gothic blues, courtesy of a man crowned rock's 'Prince of Darkness'.

This may be your last chance to see Cave live in New Zealand, so don't sleep on it.
