Night Lights at MOTAT

Overview

Night Lights is back for three magical nights to light up MOTAT and help combat your midwinter blues. It's all your favourite attractions, complemented by light activations, installations and interactive exhibitions. If you're like us and believe that fairy lights shouldn't be reserved only for December, you'll be excited to ride the famous MOTAT trams adorned with them.

For those who are new to the Western Springs museum of transport and technology, the exhibitions are inspired by items in the heritage collection and are spread across a number of buildings, so it's worth dressing for the weather as you will likely be hopping between each one.

Also on offer: live music, aerial performance and a range of food truck options.

MOTAT prides itself on its unique exhibitions and creative learning activities, so no two visits are the same. With ticket prices between $5–10 (under 5s are free), this is the perfect weekend event to mark in the calendar for the whole family.
