Overview

Following the release of Nightchoir's latest album on Friday, August 10, the band will play the Dogs Bollix in Auckland a day later on Saturday 11 August 2012.

This project follows the split of Pluto, which consisted of the three current Nightchoir members for over a decade.

“Pluto was the still the main focus for all of us while writing our first album, but since parting ways nearly two years ago, Nightchoir has become the priority", says Mike Hall.

For the past three months the Trio have been working on an exciting show. "We love playing live", says Matthias Jordan, "Now with our three piece show, we have a lot more loops and samples. It's exciting for us, we think it will be a great show for the audience too"

Mike Hall, Matthias Jordan and Mike Franklin-Browne bring a wide variety of collective influences, built up through a long career in the New Zealand music industry also playing in Balance, The Brunettes, Dimmer, Head Like A Hole, Stereobus, Pajama Club, Steve Abel, Julia Deans, Anna Coddington and Gin Wigmore.
