Overview

Boasting the very best of New Zealand's 'off the beaten track' vineyards, the New Zealand Boutique Wine Festival returns for its second year with more than 300 wines on show for your palate's pleasure.

A true celebration of all things sensory, attendees are invited to indulge in vertical tasting sessions, educational masterclasses and specially created food and wine pairings which are sure to please every diet and discerning attendee in a range of offerings which will keep you busy from 11am to sundown.

With many of the wines on show only available through independent retailers and Auckland's most shrewd establishments, the day promises to uncover a new favourite drop (or five) guaranteed to impress the in-laws and doubtless create a conversation at your next dinner party as you recount how you came to find such heavenly nectar.

Live music and the added excitement of blind tasting sessions will make Imperial Lane come alive on June 11, and our pick of events is the 'Rise of New Whites' masterclass with ambassador Yvonne Lorkin, the three-course VIP lunch matched with festival wines, or the vertical tastings which invite attendees to taste wines from the same vineyard year-on-year, whilst gaining insight into the environment and the impact she has on the production process.
