Overview

Perhaps the most ambitious gig to mark the opening of New Zealand Music Month ever is going down this Wednesday, May 3 at The Wine Cellar on K'Road.

Promising a spectacular showcase of homegrown talent which features 23 bands jamming a tune each in just over two hours, musical genius and pure crazy combine, as New Zealand Musician magazine attempts to pull off this most determined feat.

Billed as fast-paced and exhilarating, catch the likes of addictive rhythmic pop veterans Dictaphone Blues, the dreamy lyricism of newcomer Night Pilot and brooding folk act Looking for Alaska.

Whatever melody takes your fancy, you'll sure find it here, along with a new appreciation for the overwhelming musical talent we have here in our big little city.
