Overview

A film festival curated for those who would happily change their postcode to 'Atlantis' is set to hit our shores in October. The Ocean Film Festival is bringing its world tour to Auckland, and will drop anchor for one screening only at Epsom's Lido Cinema.

The Festival hopes to inspire exploration, protection and awe for the salty mass of H2O that flows over our planet. The films featured vary in length and topic. This year's selection includes stories about those who live for the ocean, the creatures that call it home and what we are still learning about its wonders.

With screenings also in Australia, Belgium, Hong Kong, China and the UK, the festival truly is a worldwide celebration of a global treasure. In each stop on the tour, the festival supports the work of local ocean charities and encourages filmgoers to do the same. Head along on Wednesday, October 12 and see the big blue on the big screen.
