Overview

After a successful run last year, Off The Radar festival will return for four days in the stunning location of Te Arai, an hour north of Auckland. The non-commercial music and arts festival was born from the idea of creating a cross-cultural exchange between its German founders, who also happen to be the promoters of Fusion Festival, and a handful of like-minded people in Auckland.

The collaborative effort also has a strong stance on not receiving support from corporate sponsors or brand entities. The musical line-up is equally as removed from the mainstream, and the eclectic bill of acts tick off genres including: indie, hip hop, electronics, blues, folk, punk and all kinds of “off the radar” stuff.

This year you'll find everyone from: Alphabethead, Arcee, Logan Baker, Race Banyon, Craig Brocas, Bing, Curse Ov Dialect, Simon Darling, David Dinger, Delic Exodus, Die!Die!Die!, DJ A-Sides, Dubtext, Dyse, Eavesdrop, Fiord, Hide And Tellow, Zayn Kemp, Kerretta, Knights Of The Dub Table, David Mayer, Miss June, Monster Zoku Onsomb, Kate Moss, Nam Shub of Enki, Night Gaunts, David Quick, PCP Eagles, Pauli Piper, Pippin, Dale Rohan, Nico Stojan, Juan Tellez, Tourettes and Vernon x Bastian.

A selection of kinetic and visual artists will also be on hand to further enhance the senses. Presenting work will be local driftwood artist Jack Marsden-Mayer, graffiti artist Cracked Ink, and a handful of creative minds from Germany.
