Overview
More art than you can probably handle, with 70 artists across 40 studios, this is the art weekend of November.
The Waitākere region is a creative mecca, with sculptors, painters, jewellers, ceramic artists, photographers, and illustrators all making work out west.
If you're keen on a self-guided tour check out the Open Studios Map and mobile App. There's also a bus tour for those without wheels.
Meet the artists, spend some coin, talk art, breathe art, eat art? Ok, maybe scrap that last suggestion, but message a few friends and pile in the car, it'll be like a mini art road trip out West.
Pack a picnic and head out to a West Coast Beach for a breather after you've got your creative fix for the day.
