Overview
OUR LAND is a global exhibition series documenting the connection between a country's people and the land or sea they inhabit. After a successful exhibition, with the same theme, based on the west coast of the South Island of New Zealand, photographer Dan Max was given a grant to continue his work in Bali. The resulting photographic study is a work of narrative art observing without intrusion the various relationships locals have with their land, their ancient culture and stripping everything back to the bare basics.
The series will be shown for one night only at Eden Terrace space: St Clements. Food will be provided along with refreshments from Monteiths and Kumeu River Wines. 20% of proceeds on the night will go towards Sustainable Coastlines.
