The team at Our:House continue to deliver popular, high end entertainment to the Auckland dance market for over 10 years now. Our:House returns again this November to deliver one of the most anticipated end of year parties.

The final Our:House for 2011 features Avicii (Sweden), Crookers (Italy) and Pretty Lights (USA) alongside the plethora of top local heavyweights such as Optimus Gryme, Dick Johnson, General Lee to name a few. With the promise of seven themed zones and top level production, Ellerslie Racecourse will be transformed into one mammoth nightclub that will no doubt be a memorable welcome to Summer 2012.

Avicii

One of the big success stories of the last couple of years in dance music has been the unstoppable rise of Avicii. The Swedish house star may not be part of any mafia, but he is certainly well connected - David Guetta and Tiësto are just two of the big names he has already worked with. While international DJs like Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold were helping to kick off house music in 1989, Tim Bergling was only born that year. He began producing at quite a young age, and soon adopted the name Avicii.

In 2008, Avicii won Pete Tong's Fast Track competition on BBC Radio 1 and had his track Manman released on Tong's Bedroom Bedlam label. This really brought him international attention, and two years ago he was tipped by Laidback Luke, Tiësto and others as Breakthrough DJ/producer 2009 in DJmag's Top 100 issue, after remixing the likes of Guetta, Dizzee Rascal and Tiësto himself.

Avicii has been busy with multiple waves of virtually non-stop touring, rapidly becoming a massive name in America. Recently being crowned the #6 DJ in the world, it's not so much a matter of watch this space as it is try and keep up.

Crookers

Phra and Bot aka Crookers, the first born and raised in Omegna, a picturesque town of Lake Orta, the second in Milan. Together they are the young italian duo who, for some years now, have been travelling on and on in every continent known to man, setting dance floors and millions of people's eardrums on fire. In 2008 Crookers' range choice goes off with "Day 'n' Nite", a remix of, at the time unknown, Kid Cudi. The hit enters the U.K. charts at 2# (giving way to Lady Gaga) and guarantees Crookers a place in world's dance Hall of Fame. They are asked to remix for Armand Van Helden and Chemical Brothers, who state, "The Italians are something to look out for". Praises from Black Eyed Peas', Will I Am and Norman Cook, otherwise known as Fat Boy Slim, will soon be added to those of the two londoner fake brothers. Hereafter it's a non stop rising.

Pretty Lights

Pretty Lights is the musical vision of the ultra-versatile Colorado based producer Derek Vincent Smith. At a time when music lovers from almost all subcultures and genres are finding common ground in the basic form of bangin' beats, Pretty Lights is giving the people what they want; electro organic cutting-edge party rocking beats that fill venues with energy and emotion and send dance floors into frenzies. And the people are responding. Pretty Lights' six albums have been downloaded over 1.4 million times from PrettyLightsMusic.com. A 2010 sold out North American fall tour and two sold out shows in Chicago for New Years Eve have propelled Pretty Lights into 2011.
