Pleasuredome will take you on a glamour filled journey back to the '80s with an electric, out-of-this-world groovy performance in a fully constructed Manhattan streets cape. The incredible set has been built just minutes from the Auckland CBD on Rosebank Road.

Director Michael Hurst and producer Rob Tapert have created an immersive theatre experience where they will be taking the audience to the mythical Pleasuredome nightclub for a wild night out.

Lucy Lawless plays the lead diva whose sexy and lavish performances are symbolic of Pleasuredome's glitzy and excessive reputation. Lawless will be performing alongside Moses Mackay, Ashleigh Taylor, Vince Harder, Stephen Lovatt and backed by 20-strong cast of local and international talent.

The story explores themes of desire, addiction, greed and the power of love, yet the heavier topics are lightened by some roof-raising, foot-tapping tunes of the era.

Whether you danced your way through the '80s or not, this is a show for everyone.
