Ponsonby Central Twilight Christmas Markets

Overview

You only have to spot the giant half-nude, mask-wearing, champagne-bearing Santa atop the roof of Ponsonby Central to know that Christmas has well and truly arrived in Auckland.

Keep the festive celebrations going inside those glass doors, with a series of Twilight Christmas Markets coming to Ponsonby Central in December.

Across two Thursdays next month— December 9 and December 16 —  the central hub's event space The Sapphire Room will transform into a boutique market, with locally designed homewares, fashion, toys, jewellery and skincare all on offer. Come with some friends to get a jump on your Christmas shopping, stay for the evening and grab a drink or dinner afterwards at one of the popular eateries or bars. It is the silly season after all.

Run by General Collective, the markets will run from 4pm–8pm, and valid vaccination passports will be required for scanning upon entry.
