Red Hot Chili Peppers

Get along to this gig. It'll be good for ya. The first show sold out in 2 hours, don't be a dope and miss this one too.

Overview

Needing little introduction and subsequently not much convincing required for why you should head along, The Red Hot Chili Peppers are back in town to help us welcome in the new year. Cheers, fellas. Welcome back.

I was always a big fan of the Chilis growing up and having read Scar Tissue a few years ago, I've firmly cemented what I think will be a life long respect for them as a band. The show at Vector will undoubtedly be wild, energetic and one hell of a way to kick off 2013.

With their first show selling out in less than 2 hours, and the continuing demand for tickets proving exceptionally strong, we're stoked to see a second and final concert confirmed for Tuesday January 15. Don't be silly and miss this one too.

When it comes to modern rock anthems, you’d be hard pressed to find a band that constantly delivers hit after hit. Now officially GOLD, last year’s album release, ‘I’m With You’  peaked at # 1 on the New Zealand and UK album chart, as well as in 15 other countries around the globe. But in all honesty, if I'm about to launch into a schpeel on why the Chilis are so rad, we'll be here for a while.

Long story short, get along. It'll be good for ya.
