Overview

New York’s quirkiest export (pre GaGa) is Regina Spektor, and she returns to Auckland to perform her eclectic mix of autobiographical songs for your entertainment at the Great Hall in Auckland’s Town Hall.

A regular on the festival scene, Spektor has enthralled audiences with her varied styles and wide-ranging voice. She rings, she raps, she beat-boxes, makes buzzing sounds and sometimes uses a strong New York accent to vary her style. Spektor usually sings in English, though she sometimes includes a few words or verses of Latin, Russian or French in her songs.

Whatever language she sings in in Auckland, the crowd are sure to be wowed by this Russian-born American export.
