If you weren't one of the lucky 23,000 to secure a ticket to this year's Rhythm and Vines, don't fret. For the first time in its 18-year history the festival is live-streaming its 2020/21 event to the world.

Each night of the festival from December 29, a number of live and pre-recorded performances from headline acts as well as up-and-coming talent will be filmed and edited into a five-hour showcase. And of course, the New Year's Eve countdown will be broadcasted to thousands across the globe as New Zealand heads into the much-anticipated arrival of 2021. Tune in from 8pm each night to experience live performances the likes of Benee, Fat Freddy's Drop, L.A.B and Shapeshifter from the comfort of your lounge. See the festival's lineup here.

The show will be hosted by popular Twitch streamer Ron Plays Games. To celebrate the launch, Rhythm and Vines will be broadcasting a special stream on their Twitch channel on Thursday night, 6pm, featuring performances from Quix and Witters playing to an empty Vines stage amphitheatre.
