Overview

While in Australia to play Groovin’ the Moo festival, the US artist with a name awfully similar to the author of teen horror-fiction series Goosebumps, will drop by New Zealand for one show.

RL Grime is a DJ/producer of hip hop, trap and bass music, as well as a core member of the Los Angeles electronic music collective WeDidIt. After releasing his debut Grapes EP through the collective in 2012, Grime teamed up with producer Salva for a remix of Kanye West's ‘Mercy’, which clocked up over three million plays on SoundCloud.

That led to the release of his follow-up EP High Beams through influential label Fool's Gold Records, a number one spot on the iTunes chart and collaborations with a who’s who of artists in the electronic genre.

His first ever trip to New Zealand will support his debut album VOID.
