Overview

Google Rufus Wainright and it quickly becomes apparent that one would devour a large cup of tea and a whole packet of biscuits before even getting to the bit about his latest work. Suffice to say the man is a living legend, and has been around the traps. His new album 'Out of the Game' has been produced by the mighty English all-he-produces-turns-to-gold Mark Ronson, you so can imagine how explosive and down right wicked this new album is.

The Civic Theatre in Auckland will host to the return of Rufus with his band, and opening act Krystle Warren, the gifted folk-jazz-soul singer and songwriter who recently completed an Australian solo tour with great panach. Referred to by Elton John as “the greatest songwriter on the planet", Rufus looks forward to recreating the studio experience live on stage and providing the New Zealand audience with something a bit little extra special.
