Overview

While we wait for the first Rhythm & Vines lineup to drop, festival organisers have announced their annual midwinter teaser as a warm-up for the main event.

After hosting a massive contingent on the Cellar Stage at the last edition of the 'first festival to see the sun', DJ collective Ruffhouse Crew have been left in charge of curating two shows in Auckland and Christchurch as part of R&V Soundcheck.

The crew first came together at a flat party in Wellington before making themselves known in the wider scene with hard hitting drum and bass. They've since played international support slots for the likes of Netsky, Flume and Pendulum — so halfway-point R&V shredders can rest assured that they know how make a dance floor bang.

For R&V Soundcheck 2017 Ruffhouse Crew have enlisted acts: Whisper, A-Class, Rinsah, The Eyes, Halps, Shadow, Third Law, Emal, Dislocate and MC Crafty.
