Overview

Have you watched too many true crime docos and are ready to solve a murder mystery yourself? You'll want to get yourself (and a few similarly minded friends) down to Q Theatre this month, to catch the new "lightly interactive" play Safety in Numbers.

The new offering from award-winning theatre company A Slightly Isolated Dog is described as an "edge-of-your-seat thriller and whodunit" — with a twist. The audience helps solve the mystery and find the murderer, sticking together (get the name?) to solve clues along the way. But don't worry introverts, if you're not keen to get involved you're welcome to simply sit back and observe.

There will be surprises and twists along the way and a fair whack of scary stuff — as well as the ridiculous. Basically, it's all the ingredients for a great group night out — or, sure, a very intense first date, if that's your bag.

The show is running for only a limited time: from Tuesday, July 12 until Sunday, July 17, so you'll want to get in quick. Tickets start at $29.99pp and can be booked through the Q Theatre website.
