Overview

Quiet since the release of their 2014 album Live at No.10 South Street, Sal Valentine & The Babyshakes are ready to unveil their new single 'Elizabeth, I've Been a Fool'. The track is the first single off the band's forthcoming second studio album and has been described as "a cathartic song" that strikes into new territory for the band.

Under the musical direction of frontman and core songwriter Sal Valentine, the group perform an energetic and brand of rhythm and soul, worthy of the comparison 'the AC/DC of jazz'. Their songs regularly come slapped with a 'Parental Advisory' label due to occasionally blasphemous lyrics. Absolute party starters include 'Drink Until I Pass Out' and 'Everybody Get Loose'.

To celebrate their latest release the ten-piece will cram onto the stage at The Kings Arms Tavern. They will be joined by SoccerPractise, Ijebu Pleasure Club, Charlie Freak and DJ SHRIMP EMOJI.
