Overview

A city which prides itself on plucking talent from the masses, Auckland Council has once again gone and dunnit, unearthing young artist Ruby White aka Miss Changy.

Known for both her handmade ceramics and culinary talents, Ruby is taking the latter to the kitchen and hosting the first of Satellites' breakfast series, celebrating young Asian artists in Auckland.

No stranger to a pop-up, Miss Changy has been showcasing her handmade noodles and clay potted soup bowls since 2014. Word on the street is that if you find yourself at a Changy event — from the adorable animations, the signage to the chopsticks — everything in sight has her eclectic spin on it.

Expect the morning of April 29 to be no different, Ruby will be serving a traditional Singaporean/Malaysian breakfast showcasing soft cooked eggs, kaya toast and kopi — encouraging her guests to get stuck in throughout.

Two sessions: 9am-10am and 10:30-11:30am. Tickets $15 per person
