Overview
Wellington's Secret Knives and Glass Vaults will join forces for a nationwide tour in June/July, stopping off at Auckland's Golden Dawn Tavern Of Power on Saturday 13 July.
Secret Knives is the recording project of Ash Smith who first gained attention for the release of his ambient, shoegaze-laced debut EP The Wolves in 2008, quickly followed by his debut album Affection in 2010. Both releases are available for free download from here. The forthcoming tour will also be the first nationwide outing for Secret Knives.
Secret Knives’ more road-weathered counterparts Glass Vaults can count two EPs to their name, with their debut album Sojourn set for the release later this year. Check out the first single off the album with accompanying music video Ancient Gates.
