Secret Museum Tour

Ever wonder what's hiding in the basement of the Museum? Now is your chance to find out. Auckland War Memorial Museum is opening up its subterranean storage space for guided behind-the-scenes tours.

The new tour, which runs daily at 11.30am, is a rare opportunity to see some of the objects and taonga that aren't on display in the gallery and exhibitions. With a Secret Museum Tour guide guests will be invited to explore the area where many of the Museum's treasures are stored and discover how priceless collections are kept safe for future generations.

Tickets are $30 per person.
