Overview
Eleven contemporary artists who explore 'voice' are showcased in this new Auckland Art Gallery show.
The triennial exhibition is dedicated to the Chartwell Trust, whose contemporary art collection has been under the gallery's guardianship for 20 years.
You'll be treated to work not previously shown at the gallery from Luke Willis Thompson, Julian Dashper and Alicia Frankovich, to name a few.
Featuring new commissions by emerging New Zealand artists Biljana Popovic and Juliet Carpenter, new work by Janet Lilo and Stuart Ringholt and the first new work shown in 12 years in the gallery by Jacqueline Fraser.
With all of those big names on offer, you may be thinking you'll have to shell out an entry fee for the opportunity — well, aren't you lucky, this one's a freebie.
