Overview

One of the purveyors of North London's street sound, Skepta, is en-route to Aotearoa to bring his trademark grime music to Takapuna's Logan Campbell Centre. The man is on a blazing run after releasing Konnichiwa, his highly acclaimed and high-charting fourth studio album, which featured two certified hits and features cameos from the likes of ASAP Mob and Pharrell.

The fact that the man can pull global stars like Pharrell onto his album speaks to the meteoric rise of UK grime, and the integral role that Skepta has played in bringing it to the world stage. Evidence of his impressive appeal is evidenced in the YouTube views of his music videos, such as 'Shutdown' (19 mil views) or 'That's Not Me' (12 mil views) - which Skepta claims he filmed and edited for less that 80 pounds.

Either way, to witness one of the driving talents behind an entire nation's rap scene, grab a ticket and go get grimy.
