Okay, so there's something pretty darn graceful about ballet dancers in general. Who knows, maybe it's good posture, or those crazy air splits they do while being balanced on some ballerino's hand. But then there are ice skaters, who are basically a level up on general ballet dancers, because not only do they do the jumps, twirls and splits, but they're doing it while gliding gracefully on two tiny steel rods over a thin frozen sheet of water.
And if that kind of thing inspires awe in you too, well, now is your chance to see the best of the best, the creme de la creme of these beings. Sleeping Beauty on Ice features an 18-strong cast of Olympic, World, European and National Championship level skaters doing "breathtaking high speed lifts and throws, awe-inspiring aerial gymnastics and fire effects" as choreographed by Tony Mercer, according to the event's presser. To top it off, they'll be doing it to Tchaikovsky.
