Overview

On his latest trip to New Zealand, Bob Dylan will bypass our largest city to perform two shows for the people of Hamilton. Those who can’t make the trip will still have the opportunity to tip their hat to the folk legend, without even having to make the trip over the Bombay Hills.

Devonport’s Wonderfish Collective has enlisted 27 musicians to perform original interpretations from the six decade-spanning song book of Bob Dylan. The show will feature recreations his work, crossing genres from folk to funk, and including simplified acoustic versions through to a 15-piece band - complete with backing singers, strings and a horn section.

All proceeds from the event will go to the NZ Dermatology Society for research.
