Overview

Ever wanted to tell your story?

Spread over two days, the South Auckland Short Film Workshop gives you the chance learn all the skills necessary to tell your story through a short film. One participant of the course will also have the opportunity to receive ongoing mentoring from Script to Screen. Attendants will be given lessons about each stage of the film process from initial concept creation to directing, with experienced filmmakers who have already been a part of successful short films mentoring the weekend.

Lessons covered include writing with Hamish Bennett, casting with Christina Asher, directing with Zia Manaviwalla and a pitching session with Michael Bennett.

The knowledge you’ll receive is free, but a $15 koha for lunch is asked for. The course runs from Saturday November 16 9am - 4:30pm, till Sunday November 17 10am - 4pm.

Spaces are limited so RSVP to [email protected] or ring the office on 09 360 5400.
