Overview

Love yourself some alternative country music? The Southern Fork Americana Fest is back for its fourth year hosting some of the greatest country artists at The Tuning Fork.

The international and local lineup features some great classic bands under the Americana banner, including foot stomping rock 'n' roll band Eb & Sparrow who build luscious harmonies over technical masterpieces; iconic Kiwi band The Warratahs who are responsible for classics like 'Hands of my Heart' and 'Maureen'; American singer-songwriter Robbie Fulks who can belt everything from honky tonk to power pop and bluegrass; Nashville folk-blues-country artist Justin Townes Earle; alternative country group Son Volt who land somewhere between Tom Petty and ZZ Top; and many more for your listening pleasure.

Strap on your boots and rally the troops for a week of American country culture down under. From October 7 to 15, all your favourite acts will be performing in the intimate venue, and because of the festival's annual success, it's back by popular demand.
