Sri Lankan Food Fair 2021

Overview

Celebrate the many colours, flavours and spices of Sri Lankan cuisine at this dedicated food fair. Hosted by the Sri Lankan Society of New Zealand, this annual food fair is family friendly and entry is completely free.

Decking out Sandringham Road's Wesley Community Centre, you'll find everything from authentic Sri Lankan parippu (dhal curry), fish ambul thiyal (sour fish curry), samosas and roti, plus traditional beverages and sweet treats. All food will be halal and plenty of vegetarian options will also be available.

Not only is this the perfect opportunity to step out of your culinary comfort zone and try something new, but an incredible chance to immerse yourself in a different culture, too. With face painting and henna tattoo artists joining the celebrations, there's plenty to get excited about.
