He's collaborated with music giants Ed Sheeran, Linkin Park and Little Mix, but now 23-year old, Stormzy, is filling his boots with his Gang Signs & Prayer worldwide tour.

Self-professed "grime artist", Stormzy jumped into the spotlight in 2013 after his YouTube series, Wicked Skengman, showing him freestyle over classic grime beats, amassed millions of views. His debut album released this year has already gained worldwide acclaim with all 16 of his tracks appearing on the Spotify UK Top 50 only 72 hours after it was available.

Equipped with an honest and cheeky personality, Stormzy stated nonchalantly in an interview with Ed Sheeran that he doesn't particularly like Hennessey or Cognac, but that doesn't stop him using them for rhymes. His album exemplifies his array of music ability as his songs 'Velvet/ Jenny Francis' and 'Blinded by Your Grace' are slow and melodic while 'Bad Boys' leans towards the classic hip hop genre.

With artists Wretch 32, MNEK and Kehlani all featured on the album there's sure to be more of Stormzy hitting the airwaves, but why wait? Catch Stormzy in Auckland at the Logan Campbell Centre on August 1.
