Overview

With the influx of footy fashion that we have seen consume Auckland over the last six weeks, it's a welcome injection of fashion innovation to have Westfield Style Pasifika gracing Vector Arena. For two exclusive evenings in the week of the Rugby World Cup Final, musicians, dancers, cultural entertainers, artists, film makers and designers will come together to showcase the best of New Zealand and Pacific style and creativity.  Now in its 17th year, the show has become a staple fashion event for the country, with entrants stretching the whole nation and a calibre that outperforms itself each year.

Style Pasifika is a vibrant fusion of fashion, music, culture and dance brought together in a spectacular cultural performance imbued with loads of Pacific pride. It's a truly unique New Zealand show. Expect culture in abundance. This is a total experience of traditional and contemporary elements of design. All patriotic associations aside, let yourself delve into something other than black this week, with a colourful and vibrant night at the Style Pasifika 2011.
