Overview
Auckland electro-house producer Suren Unka released his debut album El Chupacabra this year. To back up already released singles ‘Early’ and 'Alice', Unka is set to drop the music video for third single ‘Flee’. The clip was notably directed by Markus Hofko who has worked with the likes of Flying Lotus.
Unka says the song was written off the back of some poorly attended shows, which led him to question music altogether. Thankfully he stuck with it, and, in turn, put his frustrations to good use, making ‘Flee’ and the accompanying record. The track also features the lyrics and vocals of his fellow Beach Pigs' band member, Dahnu Graham.
He’ll celebrate the release of the single and video with a gig at 10 South Street with support from Boycrush, Jules & Vince, DJ Frosty Boy.
