Overview
A new fresh produce market will land in Henderson on Saturday, 15 February, providing an opportunity for locals to access affordable kai, connect with neighbours and support local makers and artists.
Te Puna Market will offer fresh produce from local growers, butchers and foodies, set alongside live music, artwork and weekly workshops on everything from making kombucha to composting. The market will support community groups to sell their goods and wares, rather than established names.
It will operate on the corner of Edmonton Road and Alderman Drive (Falls car park) every Saturday from 7.30am t0 1pm, alongside the EcoMatters Bike Hub and Kakako pop-up gallery. Te Puna Market is presented by Kai West — a collective made up of West Auckland organisations.
