Overview

Love hearing great Kiwi ideas? Then check out TEDx Auckland. TED started as a four-day conference in California 26 years ago, and today, is a global phenomenon that has grown to support world-changing ideas and multiple innovations. TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

TEDx Auckland is shaping up to be a sell-out, with speakers from New Zealand’s top scientists, artists, educators and technologists combining with TEDTalk videos and live speakers to spark deep discussions and debates about a huge range of topics.

Speakers in this year’s line-up include physicist, decathlete and political advisor Sean Gourley; change development specialist Paul Wood; physicist and pursuer of the Higgs boson ‘god particle’ David Krofcheck; art director of Apropos  and founder of the 100 Days Project Emma Rogan and distinguished documentary director of The Last Ocean, Peter Young .

There will be no right or wrong answer at TEDx Auckland, there will only be those who attended, and those who did not.
