Think differently.

Overview

If you're anything like me, you've probably spent hours on end completely absorbed by TED talks when you most likely have a huge list of other things to do, but of course, you really needed to watch that video on combating procrastination, for exactly that reason.

Now just imagine when your list reads "attend TEDxAuckland", how great would that be, why watch videos when you can experience the real deal. I've got great news, if you are free on the 5th and 6th of May, it very well may be what it reads.

TEDxAuckland is back and this year's theme is Flipside, turning the world and all of its structure on its head. Think about power structures, gender, race and geography in a new light, when ideas are put ahead of ideology and hierarchies are not invited to the party.

Musician Lizzie Marvelly, Senior Lecturer in Psychology and academic Pani Farvid, and the Prime Minister's Future Scientist award-winner Georgia Lala are all on the lineup so expect to have your mind blown.
