Overview

Auckland's greatest binge screening is heading back for its 21st year. The 24-Hour Movie Marathon is exactly what it sounds like and every year invites eager film buffs to test their endurance across a whopping 1440 non-stop minutes of cinema.

From 5–6 December, 2020 at Hollywood Avondale, movie enthusiasts will feast their eyes on a visual smorgasbord of films from numerous genres and decades. The lineup is kept under wraps until the screening, although organisers says there will be retro titles and a good dose of sex, drugs and violence — hence the R18 restriction.

Snacks to keep you going will be available from the candy bar and there will be dinner and breakfast breaks. General admission tickets are $60, while beanbag tickets can be picked up for $85.
