Critically acclaimed work The Basement Tapes is making its way to Auckland's Basement Theatre after sell out shows in Wellington and at Melbourne Fringe. Theatreview described the production as "Eerie, thrilling and totally engrossing."

Following the death of her grandmother, a girl must clean out the basement. Confronted with tapes bearing confessions and enigmatic mysteries, she must deal with unravelling truths and secrets as the past crashes into the present.

The Basement Tapes has received countless awards, including Outstanding Performance: Stella Reid (NZ Fringe Festival 2017), Director of the Year: Jane Yonge (Wellington Theatre Awards 2017) and the Melbourne Fringe Tour Ready Award (NZ Fringe Festival 2017).
