Overview
Passionate cycling commuters and leisurely users of the bicycle, take your foot off the pedal and march yourself to the third annual The Bike Film Night where yourself and fellow enthusiasts will be treated to 'the best cycling short films in the world', covering genres such as drama, comedy and even romance.
The lineup includes a stylised expose of London's bike culture, a story about the American Bike Frame Builder, a documentary about the cycle of Mount Ventoux — a killer 1912 metre peak and the two faces of BMX riding.
For those left craving more bicycles and more movies, the sister and complimentary bike film night Cycle Chic will also be rolling into town around the same time, but specifically celebrating women who love biking. Included in Cycle Chic's lineup is the story of an East African urban planner's struggle to have a cycling lane built in the city, a biking love story spanning the United States, women's mountain biking in Japan and female fixed gear enthusiasts in Melbourne.
