The Culinary Crawl

Overview

Onehunga's progressive dining experience, The Culinary Crawl, is heading back to the suburb this Saturday, July 31.

Once again part of Auckland's Elemental AKL winter series, the event involves visiting some of Onehunga's best bars and restaurants as they showcase their most popular dishes. At the 2021 event, participants will kick the night off with an appetiser and a drink, before moving between neighbouring venues to enjoy a main and then dessert. There will be five starting times every 30 minutes between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with each course being served at 60-minute intervals.

The event includes Onehunga Cafe, Ajimi, The Bramble, Everybody Eats, The Good Home, Brother's Beer, Curry Leaf, Coffee Plenty, Gratitude Restrobar and Manna Kitchen. Only the initial venue will be revealed at the time of booking — the rest of the culinary route will be a surprise on the night.

Part of the experience includes live music as well as a photo booth and lighting displays in the street.

Tickets to the 2020 event sold out five weeks prior, so be sure to get in early.
