Overview

Catapulted into the spotlight with their irrepressible hit 'Bohemian Like You', alternative-rock quartet The Dandy Warhols are returning to Aotearoa for the first time in 13 years.

Having carved out a reputation that's synonymous with psychedelic pop-rock, The Dandy's stage presence is original and thrilling, with a distinct early naughties sound doubtless to incite nostalgia.

Returning to their imitable sun-soaked exuberance in the latest studio offering, Distortland, whispers are circulating that the band is set to produce new material later this year, and while we're holding out for an — old classics 'We Used To Be Friends', 'Godless' and 'Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth' will more than satiate our palate in the meantime.

Aptly supported by kooky local pop-rockers Ha the Unclear, gigs in Auckland and Christchurch will see audiences reviving old favourites which are guaranteed to put a spring in their step long after the curtain closes.
