Overview

As the name elicits, The Drums of Fire will be a blazing spectacular of percussion, ritual, hypnotic rhythm and awe-inspiring physicality.

The Catalan festival tradition of correfoc, also known as 'fire-run' is manifested by a Basque street theatre group which has spent the past twenty years lighting up infernos and bringing its raucous percussive show to cities around the globe.

With driving drum beats and daring pyrotechnics, this show is not for the faint of heart, but a family spectacle that will have you hooked.

Follow the troupe around the CBD as they lead the audience through the streets of Auckland. Bring walking shoes and leave the folding chairs at home, it's an interactive performance, but don't fear, the fire will be left to the professionals.
