Overview

A truly distinct theatre show that dives into some topical conversations of our time, the WonderWombs looks at gender and physicality through the lens of a circus party.

Exploring muscularity and masculinity, the show promises risk, splendour, story and comedy, pulling in these different elements and adding a few surprises along the way. The show has been described as 'slippery and devilish' and a 'sparkling, juicy, feminist manifesto'. Check out the promo video and you'll catch a glimpse of a show that's for sure out of the box, riveting, strange and daring, putting an edgy spin on your usual acrobatic shows.

The show toured New Zealand in October, performing in major cities, and is now coming to Q Theatre from 17–21 December with adult tickets costing $29.

Recommended 16+ the show contains full frontal nudity, coarse language, sexual content, strobe and smoke effects. It's also important to note that it explores themes of body dysmorphia, sexual consent and sexual abuse.
