Overview
Tennessee Williams' first great Broadway success is an emotionally-charged portrait of hope which is as moving as it is engaging.
It is the 1930s in St Louis and aspiring poet Tom Wingfield can't stand his job but he does it to support his overbearing mother and desperately shy sister Laura. Bullied by his mother, he goes about finding Laura a gentleman caller to try to coax her out of her fragile private world. Don't miss this modern classic directed by American guest director, Jef Hall-Flavin who is executive director of the Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival.
