Overview

The one and only Dave Dobbyn will appear alongside Hello Sailor for a one-off concert this November paying tribute to the late and legendary Dave McArtney.

Alongside Dobbyn, Johnny Lyon - the son of Hello Sailor co-founder Harry, and McArtney’s Sydney-based nephew Tim will play guitar and sing with the band, filling the enormous gap McArtney left.

Also playing the show will be a reunited Exponents and the showstoppers from last year's double-sell-out Gluepot tribute concert - The Gluepot Supergroup, featuring Hammond Gamble, Larry Morris, Rick Bryant, Neil Edwards and others from the former Ponsonby venue.

The gig will be MC-ed by Barry "Doctor Rock" Jenkin, taking over from last year's host Kevin Black, who died in February.
